Welcome to Acha Mechanic (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website (https://achamechanic.com/) or using our services (including workshop repairs, mobile mechanic services, and roadside assistance), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General Provisions

1.1. Acceptance of Terms: By using our website or booking a service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts in Pakistan. 1.2. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Services Provided

We operate a “Hybrid Model” providing automotive services in Lahore, specifically:

  • Workshop Services: Performed at our physical facility (Valencia Town, Lahore).
  • Mobile Services: Doorstep car repair and maintenance at your designated location.
  • Roadside Assistance: 24/7 emergency support for breakdowns, flat tires, and battery issues.

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1. Scheduling: Appointments can be booked via our website, phone (0320 000 4167), or WhatsApp. While walk-ins are welcome at our workshop, priority is given to scheduled appointments. 3.2. Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 2 hours in advance. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for mobile visits if the team has already been dispatched. 3.3. Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse service to any client if the vehicle is deemed unsafe to work on or if the location for mobile service is unsuitable or dangerous for our technicians.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. Estimates: We provide transparent, itemized quotes before starting work. However, initial estimates are based on visible issues. If additional faults are discovered during diagnostics or disassembly, we will seek your approval for any extra costs before proceeding. 4.2. Payment Methods: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept:

  • Cash (PKR)
  • Bank Transfer / Online Fund Transfer
  • JazzCash / EasyPaisa 4.3. Late Payment: Failure to pay for services rendered may result in the retention of your vehicle (lien) until full payment is made, in accordance with Pakistani law.

5. Warranty Policy

5.1. Coverage: As stated on our website, we offer a 1-week warranty on eligible repairs and parts supplied by Acha Mechanic. This covers defects in materials or workmanship. 5.2. Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

  • Parts supplied by the customer (we only warrant parts we source).
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., brake pads, wiper blades, tires).
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, or modification of the vehicle.
  • Issues unrelated to the specific repair performed by us.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1. Valuables: Please remove all personal items and valuables from your vehicle before handing it over to our staff. Acha Mechanic is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property left inside the car. 6.2. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate information regarding your vehicle’s history and current condition. Withholding information about prior temporary fixes or known faults may affect the quality of repair and void your warranty. 6.3. Permission: By booking a service, you grant our technicians permission to operate your vehicle for testing, diagnostics, and road trials.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acha Mechanic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. 7.2. While we take every precaution, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to the vehicle that becomes apparent during the repair process (e.g., brittle plastic parts breaking due to age, rusted bolts snapping).

8. Mobile Mechanics & Roadside Assistance

8.1. Access: For mobile services, you must provide a safe, flat, and legal location for our mechanics to work. If the location is on a public road or restricted area, you are responsible for any fines or penalties. 8.2. Safety: Our technicians have the right to leave a site immediately if they feel threatened or if the environment is unsafe.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data (e.g., name, phone number, vehicle details). We respect your privacy and do not sell your data to third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Punjab.
